Negima Yakitori


  • 1 1/2 pound boneless chicken thigh

  • 2 leeks

  • 1 1/3 pound ground chicken

  • 1/3 cup sesame seeds

  • 1/3 cup cornstarch

  • 2tbsp miso

  • 2 eggs



  1. 'Negima' is a Japanese word for describing leek-and-chicken kebab.

  2. Soak the skewers in water beforehand so that they don't burn while cooking.

  3. Cut the chicken into cubes and the leeks into 1-inch pieces.

  4. Arrange the chicken and leeks on the skewers in this manner: chicken, leek, chicken, leek and lastly chicken.
