Fish in Cabbage Wraps


  • 400g white fish fillet

  • 3/4 cup chopped water chestnuts

  • 12 to 14 6" x 4" napa cabbage leaves

  • Salt and pepper


  • 20g blanched red capsicum

  • 20g blanched yellow capsicum

  • 10g blanched oyster mushrooms


  1. Blanch cabbage leaves in boiling water for 30 to 40secs and soak in ice water. Drain and set aside.

  2. Mince fish into a paste using a fork. Add water chestnut and season well.

  3. Place 2tbsp of fish paste on each cabbage leaf and roll it up. Steam for 8 to 12mins.

  4. Garnish with capsicum and mushroom.
