Tamagoyaki


[Ingredients]

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1tbsp sugar

  • 1tsp mirin

  • 1/4tsp salt

  • 1/4tsp soy sauce

  • Cooking oil

[Steps]

  1. Mix all the ingredients together. Beat eggs until it's amalgamated.

  2. Heat frying pan over medium heat, add oil. Using a piece of kitchen towel, rub it around the pan to spread the oil and absorb any excess oil.

  3. Pour a thin layer of egg into the pan. Tilt pan to spread the eggs. As soon as the eggs sets, roll/fold egg upwards and push to a side. Keep repeating until all the mixture is cooked and a thick egg roll is formed.

  4. When egg is doned, place it on a sushi mat lined with kitchen towel, roll it up. Leave to cool and cut into slices.
