Fried Cheese Sticks


  • Block of cheese of your choice

  • Water

  • 5 well beaten eggs

  • 2cups bread crumbs

  • 1/2cup flour

  • Cooking oil


  1. Prepare 3 different dish for breadcrumbs, eggs and flour.

  2. Run cheese under water briefly. This will help flour to adhere on the cheese better.

  3. Cut cheese into sticks and coat lightly with flour.

  4. Dip flour coated cheese sticks into the egg, and then the breadcrumbs.

  5. Repeat the process again - flour, egg, cheese. A thicker crust will prevent the cheese from leaking out.

  6. Pan fry cheese sticks until golden on all sides, about a few mins. Don't leave it on the heat too long as the cheese will start leaking out.

  7. Drain excess oil on kitchen towels and serve hot or warm. Reheat using microwave if needed.
