Mantou Shrimp Roll


  • 8 large cooked prawns, roughly chopped (my prawns were smaller so there is more pieces as shown)

  • 80g Japanese mayonnaise

  • 4tbsp chopped chives

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • Pepper

  • 5pcs mantou

  • Cooking oil (for shallow-frying)


  1. Mix all ingredients (except mantou) together. Chill till required.

  2. Shallow fry mantou till golden brown.

  3. Cut a slit on mantou, put in shrimp mix.
