Sausage Meatball Marinara Pasta


  • 400g (raw) choice of sausage - remove casing, roll into balls

  • 1 small yellow onion - peeled, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves - peeled, chopped

  • 1 can whole tomatoes

  • 1 can tomato puree

  • Fresh thyme

  • Salt, pepper and sugar

  • 1tbsp heavy cream

  • 2 servings of choice of pasta

  • Chopped parsley

  • 2tbsp grated parmesan


  1. Pan sear meatballs till browned and fats had rendered out. Drain on paper towels.

  2. Remove meat oil from pan. Add 1tbsp olive oil over low heat. Saute onion and garlic.

  3. Then, add a few tbsp of water to deglaze the pan.

  4. Add tomatoes and tomato puree, smash the tomatoes.

  5. Season sauce and add in meatballs. Mix well.

  6. Add in thyme, followed by cream. Simmer till the sauce is slightly thicken.

  7. Meanwhile, set the pasta to boil.

  8. Add cooked pasta to sauce and mix well. Sprinkle parsley and parmesan over.
