#1: East Wing Lismore Castle. Due to daylight saving, there is an hour time difference between NSW (Lismore) and Queensland (Gold Coast). We are staying in Lismore but we are flying back to Singapore from Gold Coast Airport. It's about an hour and a half drive from our hostel to the airport. We got a little confuse on what time we are supposed to leave the hostel to reach in time for the flight. Ended up, we left at 0600hrs NSW time.
#2: Drawing of the sunset. Sunrise is at about 6 in the morning at Lismore and I'm so glad to be able to catch the sunrise on our way to the airport. As kids, we always learned to draw the sun this way (above) - a circle with straight lines shooting out as the sun rays. But for the first time, I see the REAL sun rays (below)! It doesn't look as good in the photo as it was taken from the window of a moving vehicle.

#4: Saw some cows along the way. After a looooong 8hrs flight, we are finally back in SINGAPORE!!! It has been a really fun and fruitful trip, to be traveling with my friends and doing lots of silly things. To be able to just roam around and do anything we like without anyone controlling us, and to really figure our ways out sourcing for food and places to go. Because usually when I go on holiday, I go on tours, so everything is already planned out and we don't get to choose where we want to go. Most of the time, we ended up going to just 2 or 3 places that we want to go and most of the places we do not want to go. I find it really a waste of time and it makes the trip less fun. Well, I guess from now on, I'll just plan my own holiday rather than leaving it to the travel agency :D Cheers!
