Ever since I started travelling on my own, I always opt for airbnb as accommodation. It is a convenient, affordable and versatile alternative to the usual lodging people usually go for for holidays. This time round, I chose to book the entire place instead of just having a private room, since studio apartments are available for this trip.

I would say this is my most satisfied stay amongst all! Firstly, it is conveniently located near to Ximending (about 200m to the main street of Ximending), but far enough to escape from all the buzz. Ximending has lots of shops and street performances, so you will never get bored. The street stalls also operate till almost midnight. If you get hungry at weird hours, 7-11 is just down the street, so there is always food available. The place is relatively safe as well as it's installed with CCTVs and you will have to unlock 2 main doors before getting into your apartment.

It is about SGD500 for 9-night stay which I find it's pretty affordable with its location and the size and functionality of the apartment. The owner is really helpful as well and responses promptly to my enquiries.

You can find almost everything within the apartment. The cosy apartment comes with wifi, air-conditioned, a labelled TV; a simple lounge chair; queen-sized bed; work desk; ample shelving; wardrobe with hangers; a simple kitchenette equipped with sink, microwave oven, kettle and fridge; and washroom with hot/cold tap, washing machine and a Japanese-style toilet seat - always get warm toilet seat. The apartment also comes with shampoo, body soap, ample garbage bags, ample tissue, floor cleaner, dish detergent, hairdryer, multi extension plugs with adaptor, and face and bath towels. If you are a simple traveller, you almost don't have to pack anything extra, apart from your clothing! You really could find almost everything that you need within the apartment!
