Air Fried Churros


  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 40ml heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 80g softened unsalted butter

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup plain flour

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 2 eggs


  1. Microwave chocolate for 2-3mins. Add in cream and mix till incorporated, set aside.

  2. In a mixing bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar together, set aside.

  3. In a saucepan over low heat, add in butter and stir till it melts.

  4. Add in sugar, salt and water. Bring to a boil and mix well.

  5. Remove pan from heat, add in flour and mix till a dough is formed. Set aside and let cool.

  6. Add dough into a bowl of a stand mixer. While mixing, add in vanilla and eggs - one at a time. Mix till a smooth dough is formed. Transfer dough into a piping bag fitted with a piping tip.

  7. Grease the airfryer basket. Pipe dough into the basket and airfry it at 200degC for 10mins.

  8. When done, coat churros with cinnamon sugar and serve with chocolate sauce.
